You know it’s about the journey, not the destination. And if you are like me, you are constantly striving to make that journey as conscious as possible. Expanding your perspective and compassion, conscious living helps you fulfill your purpose and cultivate abundant love on earth.


If you are looking to live a conscious life, here are 5 ways to make your journey more fulfilling.

Meditate More


Meditation and prayer helps you align with your inner divinity and external purpose. Take time to separate from your ego, and become conscious of your spirit.


Focus on Nutrition


Staying conscious of what you consume and how your eating habits are affecting the environment are key to conscious living. Feed your soul and heal your body with proper nutrition that aligns with your moral values. Malnutrition is the culprit of many physical and mental disorders, so do yourself a favor and nurture your body adequately.


Do More Cardio


Adequate aerobic exercise is associated with increased wellbeing and mental clarity. It is even associated with preventing Alzheimer’s and memory loss. Finding ways to stay motivated with your workout plans will also build character and inspire more than just your lungs.


Get out in Nature


Sometimes the human ego can clout our consciousness, which is why I recommend a healthy dose of nature. Experiences of awe facilitate humility that checks our egos at the door. Remind yourself and your problems just how small you are, and get out in nature more often.


Karma Work


Every great spiritual figure has preached the power of compassion and kindness. Elevate your consciousness and truly behave like we are all connected, because we are all one. Treat others how you want your own divinity to be treated, and set an intention to help and inspire others on a daily basis. Most of all give what you can to those less fortunate, and continue to bless others as you have been blessed.
